LPAC's Arts for Youth program is committed to providing the best opportunities for students of all ages to experience and appreciate the performing arts, while enhancing their current educational development. We present culturally intensive educational shows and workshops for K-12 to meet the California Content Standards and open the classroom to the creative and imaginative process. For adults, our goal is to inspire the sensibilities and intellectual curiosity. Through exposure to live performance and engaging participation, we seek to ensure that the arts remain an integral part of our community’s rich inheritance. The Arts for Youth programs are rich and rare opportunities to observe artists creating their work.

Teacher Testimonials
From Challen David, 8th Grade Teacher at Keppel Academy, January 2011:
"I wanted to thank you SO much for allowing our school the opportunity to participate in the workshops. I cannot rave enough about them. To be honest, my co-workers and I were nervous about an assembly about ballet for our 8th graders who think they're cooler than everything and everyone. NONE, and I mean ZERO, of them have ever seen a live art performance of any type, much less ballet. I've been teaching for 4 years, and I've never been to an assembly where the kids were more respectful and entertained and engaged. I could not believe how good they were. They were captivated the entire time!"
